Articling Opportunity (Intellectual Property)

We are seeking an articling student to assist us with our busy intellectual property litigation, trademark and copyright practice for the 2021 – 2022 term.

Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in intellectual property law.

Skills & Experience

  • Legal Research (familiarity with Westlaw and LexisNexis);

  • Drafting legal memoranda;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);

  • Excellent organizational skills;

  • Attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Ability to work as a team and independently; and

  • Familiarity with operating the Canadian Intellectual Property Office databases is preferred.

Summer Law Student 2021 (Intellectual Property)

May 2021 to August 2021

We are seeking a full-time first or second year law student to assist us with our busy intellectual property litigation, trademark and copyright practice

This position is for law students enrolled in a law school program leading to a JD or LLB degree.

Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in intellectual property law.
